A carefully designed AI tutor improved learning in one college physics course

In a randomized crossover study of 194 Harvard undergraduates, students learned more in less time with a custom AI tutor than in an active-learning class covering the same material. The result concerns one course, a tightly designed tutor and short-term tests.
